pngr.dev (operated by Fine Ventures LLC) offers optional SMS notifications so account holders are alerted the moment a service they monitor changes state. This page describes what we send and how consent works; it forms part of our Terms and Privacy Policy.
Automated, transactional monitoring alerts only — no marketing, no promotional content. A message is sent when one of your configured monitors goes down, becomes degraded, or recovers. Examples:
pngr.dev: Monitor Down: Acme API — https://api.acme.io/health pngr.dev: Monitor Recovered: Acme API — https://api.acme.io/health
SMS alerts are entirely opt-in and never assumed. After signing up, the account holder opens Channels (in the left sidebar), clicks New channel, chooses SMS, and enters their own mobile number. A clearly-labeled SMS consent checkbox is presented — optional and unchecked by default — that states the purpose of the messages and links back to this page:
I consent to receive automated SMS alerts from pngr.dev about the status of services I monitor — for example, when a monitored service goes down, becomes degraded, or recovers. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.
Numbers are only ever added by the authenticated account holder for their own organization. We do not import, buy, or share phone numbers.
The same consent form our account holders use is reproduced live below, with no login required, so carriers and messaging reviewers can verify it directly. It is the in-app screen from Channels → New channel → SMS — the same number field and the same SMS consent checkbox, which is optional and unchecked by default (you can create the channel without ticking it). This is a demonstration only: nothing is submitted and no SMS is sent from this page.
Frequency varies and is event-driven — you only receive a message when a monitored service actually changes state, so there is no fixed cadence and no recurring digest.
pngr.dev does not charge for SMS alerts beyond your plan, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe that number immediately; reply HELP for help. You can also remove or pause the SMS channel anytime under Channels in the app. Questions: [email protected].
Mobile numbers are used solely to deliver the alerts you configured and are processed by our messaging provider for that purpose. We do not sell or share them, and no mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
